All sessions will be packed with tons of art experience and skills that will stretch and challenge your young artist. Most projects are open ended and allow a high level of creativity and problem solving. All Classes will meet on Bethel College Campus. JUNE 2-5/ PLAY'N IN THE MUD: All Things Clay! 1:00 - 3:00

Young artists entering 3rd through 8th will have the time of their life! We will be learning all the basics and building on previously learned skills through some fun and fresh projects! Some include slab vases, leaking bowls, pinch pot bells, creatures, state platters, face mugs, and many more open ended clay experiences. All campers will get to experience wheel throwing and have several hand built projects to take home after firing! Painting & Glaze Day TBD. Session $100. Materials Fee $20. {SIGN UP}

JUNE 9-13/ SHUTTERBUGS: Photography Club 8:00 - 9:30

Calling All Beginning Photographers! Topics covered: posing people, composing in nature, natural lighting, capturing candids, reducing blur, and the dreaded manual mode. Young photographers will learn more about their cameras and what they can do. Must have a digital camera & be willing to be in a paint “fight” {which we will capture}! Online galleries will be set up for each camper so they can showcase their work. A photography challenge to last them through the summer will keep them learning well after camp is done. We will be using surrounding nature trails for a new look through our lenses. Session $100. Materials Fee $10. {SIGN UP}

JUNE 9-13 PROJECT RUNWAY: Sewing and Such 9:30-11:30

Sewing Basics in an Exciting Way! Students entering grades 4 - 8 will learn basic pattern creation and sewing skills by making a stuffed creature with recycled fabrics, make ruffles like a pro for their aprons, and create a fashion statement piece using creative materials for a runway show. And some other fun bling along the way...headbands, tshirt dresses, fabric painting, and yo-yo flower clips to name a few. Campers will be provided fabrics and supplies with their camp fee but are encouraged to bring scraps and other fabrics from home as they see fit! Sewing Machines welcome but not required. Entering Grades 4th - 8th. Session $100. Materials Fee $20. {SIGN UP}


Youth sessions are taught by Brittni Rhodes a K-8 art instructor, Photographer, Studio Owner, and above all a Mess Maker extraordinaire. Assistant Teachers include Leah Clark a Bethel Grad Ceramics Major and Art Teacher and Greta Wiebe a 5th grade teacher and textiles specialist. We are all super excited to work with budding artists and get them started on a creative summer!
