Important Information
Read Across America Dr. Seuss Day:
Monday, March 2, 2020 is our annual Read-In! Students will be sharing books, reading books, snacking on Mrs. Fosdeck's yummy concoctions and creating a great memory! Students attending the Read-In already turned in their permission slips and are listed by grade level alpha by last name, and the periods they'll be attending the read-in ON THIS 2020 READ-IN DOCUMENT. These specific students may wear their PJ's and bring their pillows and blankets. Students attending should go to the library after dropping off all technology and backpacks in their lockers.
Staff Meeting for ALL STAFF:
On Monday we have an ALL STAFF meeting in the library at 1:55 with Superintendent Tom Seigel, he will be presenting service pins for staff at certain mile stones.
Building Calendar:
This is just a reminder that if you do not have access to the CMMS Building Calendar or are unsure how to view it on your Google Calendar, please see Brenda, Kim, Stephanie F. or Brit sometime this week. It is very important that ALL STAFF are checking the building events to stay in the know of what is going on ahead of time. For example, it should not be a surprise to anyone that we have a staff meeting on Monday.
Student of the Month Celebration Friday (3/6/20):
We will be releasing students during 6th period (12:30pm) for our Student of the Month Assembly! You will use the list (Coming Soon) to identify any student you may have in 6th period that will need to report to the cafeteria with their belongings. There will be an announcement made when it is time to release.
March 11, 2020:
Discipline Data
Use the Padlet to Notice and Wonder about TWO THINGS... one is the data presented below, it is sorted by repeat offenders (6 or more) and two is to discuss your thoughts on the image and message above. We often share information about students that is important for you to know when working with them, and it is intended to help you find the best approach when working with them, or to find some connection, needed support, etc. all in an effort to be a WARM DEMANDER. It is never intended to lower expectations for students, rather find another way, any way, to support their growth toward meeting our expectations.
Kudos Cougars and Family Kudos Cougars
From Mrs. McFadden to Mr. Danny:
Thank you for, Danny, for always being there for our kids in all of the right ways. You have such a great rapport with students AND staff. It's a great feeling to know you've always got our (teachers and kids) back!
From Mrs. Blackburn to Mrs. Lathrom:
I am so incredibly grateful for you. You not only provide on point support with all of the financial items choir entails, but instantly brainstorm creative problem solving, always offer ways to make things easier, and contribute your time, energies, and resources consistently above and beyond the call. Thank you thank you thank you. You are fantastic!
