From the Principal
Kodiak Families,
With the return of students to full in-person learning, Tuesday through Friday, it is imperative that we all work together to keep students, staff and our community safe and healthy. As a school team, we are asking for your assistance with the following.
- If there is a person within your household that has a pending Covid-19 test, all members of that household need to remain at home until a negative test result is returned. Please do not send your student to school if there is a member of the household with a pending test.
- Please communicate with the school if any member of your household tests positive, or your student is exhibiting any of the symptoms listed below.
- If your student is exhibiting any of the following symptoms, please keep your student home until they are symptom free for 72 hours without symptom reducing medications. If your student develops any of these symptoms, follow up with your healthcare provider and call the VMS Attendance Line (208)350-4444.
- Fever (100.4 or greater)
- Loss of taste or smell
- Chills
- New or unusual headache
- Nausea/Vomiting/Diarrhea/or loss of appetite
- Cough
- Muscle Aches
- Sore Throat
- Shortness of Breath
- Fatigue
- Congestion or Runny Nose
Thank you for your continued partnership with us. If your student is needing to isolate due to medical reasons, we will arrange for them to engage in their learning remotely.
We are excited to have students back full time Tuesday through Friday and we want to keep it that way. It is through our partnership as a community that we will be able to keep students, staff, and our community healthy and safe. Thank you!
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
