Former EHT Grad Speaks to 8th Grade Students

Former student, Leo Shau, came back to visit with the current 8th graders at Alder Ave. Middle School this past Wednesday to speak with them about his experience so far as a Harvard College freshman. Leo graduated from Alder Ave. in 2015 and was a student on the Orange team. Leo is involved with a program at his college called “Return to Middle School” and he participates in working with current middle school students in explaining about his middle school/high school experience leading him to where he is today. He gave the students some history on how his family came to this country and that he is a 1st Generation college attendee in his family! He stressed to the students that hard work pays off, always develop and work toward goals, even if they seem unattainable at the moment, and always get involved in school activities to pursue interests that you may not even know you have!

ParentCamp EHT

As we begin a new year and decade, we are also preparing for our upcoming ParentCamp in EHT. The ParentCamp will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at EHT HS from approximately 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. The intent of a ParentCamp is to share valuable information and resources with our school community, and most importantly our parents.
