Blue Jay Bulletin for Parents

January 11, 2021 - Issue 18

Dear Blue Jay Families,

Happy New Year! January 1st always seems to bring a renewed sense of hope and optimism for the upcoming year.

A few announcements and reminders as we kick off the new year...

  • STEM Showcase videos are below. It is not quite the same as an in-person showcase but you still get the opportunity to see some creative minds at work! Grades K and 1 are together, Grade 2 separate, and Grades 3 and 4 together.
  • Mrs. Palmer and the Blue Jay Band recorded their Winter Concert playlist....amazing as always! There are playlists for the 5th grade, 6th grade, Junior High, and High School. Click here to access - http://bit.ly/38bvhch
  • No School on Monday, January 18th in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
  • We will try to get outside for recess as much as we can during the winter months. The fresh air is good for the mind and body. Thank you for reminding your child(ren) to bring a coat. If you are in need of a winter coat, we can help fill that need as well.

Stay Positive and Healthy,

Mr. Waigand
