French Trip
Mrs. F-N and Mrs. VanLaeken will be taking 12 Gananda students to France on March 27th. We are all really excited for the trip because the kids will get to meet up again with their new friends from Rennes that stayed with us in October, 2017. We will be traveling with groups from Honeoye and Wayne CSDs and each student will live with a French family for the week or so that we are there. The Americans will go on day-long field trips to sights in the surrounding area of Rennes such as Mt. St. Michel, St. Mâlo and the beaches of Normandy. This trip we will be doing something new! We will spend 2 days and 1 night in the Loire Valley to see two of the most famous castles in France, Chambord and Chenonceau. It will be an adventure for all!
SchoolMessenger phases out - Schoology is the HS platform for communication
Please note - district communications and emergency messages will still be sent via SchoolMessenger.
Gananda Central School District sends out notifications to parents via phone, text, and email messages during emergency situations through a software program entitled School Messenger. This system is separate from the Parent Portal system which keeps student records and information such as contacts, grades, and attendance. If your contact information is correct in Parent Portal, but you are still not getting the emergency notifications from the District, please contact Shannon Bergstresser directly at Sbergstresser@gananda.org or 315-986-3521 ext. 2408. At times information in the Parent Portal is updated but School Messenger is not. We can only provide information to parents if our records are current, so please make sure if you move, change jobs, or get a new phone number you let us know!
