ICCS families can earn PTO points for all items sold. Please contact our PTO Greenery Sale Co-Chairmen: Debra Wilder at erroldebra@suddenlink.net or Tiffany Bordelon at tiffanymbordelon@yahoo.com if you have any questions.
SAVE THE SEA TURTLES PBL
Our 1st Grade students have completed a project based learning science unit focusing on animal defenses. The endangered sea turtle was studied, and the students decided to collect donations for the sea turtle conservancy as their service project. Through sea turtle research, conservation and advocacy, the Sea Turtle Conservancy is addressing the threats to sea turtles and the natural habitats upon which they depend.
The 1st Grade students will be collecting donations during school hours starting Monday, October 21. This special fundraiser will last for one week. Donors will receive a unique book mark designed and created by the 1st Grade classes.
SUBMIT YOUR BOX TOP "PAPER" LABELS SOON!
If you or a family member would like to submit any paper BOX Top labels, please do so soon. The Box Tops program has recently gone completely electronic, but parents and "Grand-Panthers" may still have paper labels at home or work. If so, please put the labels in a zip lock bag, write your student's name on the bag and send to school with your child no later than Friday, October 25. Our ICCS Box Top Program Coordinator, Rebecca Roach will be submitting the paper labels by the end of October to earn cash for our school. For more information, please contact Rebecca Roach at rebroach@hotmail.com.
