Girls on the Run
Dressel will have a team in the FALL this year and registration is already open!!
This program is for girls in 3rd-5th grade. Please see the attached flyer for sign up instructions and additional information. Participant registration ends September 4th.
Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays directly after school until 4:45. Practices start on September 11th and the final 5K will be November 18th.
Girls on the Run Volunteers...we are also looking for parent volunteers to help with the program. If interested in hearing more information please contact Jamie Haberberger, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dressel uses the free PikMyKid platform to improve the safety and efficiency of our pick-up process. Families will need to download the PikMyKid app on their cell phones. This free app can be found in the app store and will allow you to notify the school of pick-up changes, authorize others to pick-up your child from school, alert you when your child has been picked up or sent home on the bus, as well as help organize the car line during pick-up.
The registration process is easy. If you have not done so already, we ask that all families register with the phone application as soon as possible. Please make sure you register with your personal current mobile phone number or the app will not allow you to access your child’s information for security reasons.
If you do not think the school has your mobile number on file or if your child does not appear on your app’s home page, contact email@example.com after registration, with your child’s name, school, grade, and updated contact information for you.
Anyone who will be picking up your child should also register themselves with the application. Their screen will be blank and they will not have any authorization until you allow it within the app.
5th Grade Party Volunteers
The school year is just beginning, but we are looking for volunteers to plan our 5th graders' year end celebration. We are also looking for student and parent volunteers to work at the first 5th Grade Party fundraiser of the year on Saturday, 9/9. Please help us get our fundraising efforts off to a great start!

Your Voice Matters: Strategic Plan Community Events
Lindbergh Schools invites all parents, staff and Lindbergh community members to participate in one of four community engagement events during the week of Sept. 11. Feedback collected during these events will inform the development of the district's next five-year strategic plan.
We want to hear from as many members of the community as possible, so please share this invitation and make every effort to attend one of the following events during the week of Sept. 11. We appreciate your feedback and support!
What: Lindbergh Strategic Planning Community Engagement Events
When: 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12
Location: Truman Middle School cafeteria, 12225 Eddie and Park Road
When: 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 14
Location: Sperreng Middle School cafeteria, 12111 Tesson Ferry Road
Please Check Infinite Campus for Bus Route Changes
As we enter the third week of school, it is important that all families who use bus transportation log in to Infinite Campus on Monday, Sept. 5, and check their student’s pickup and drop-off times, and bus stop location. Routes will be adjusted this weekend, with updated information available on Monday, Sept. 5.
During the first weeks of school, the district works closely with our transportation provider First Student to make adjustments to bus routes, add new riders and create a schedule that is efficient, safe and reliable. Some minor adjustments may be possible as a result.
A good rule of thumb is to allow about 10 minutes of flexibility from the scheduled pickup and drop-off times, in case a bus is running early or taking a few extra minutes to arrive.
