There was a pharaoh who ordered all the Jewish newborn boys were killed so the Jewish people wouldn't rise to power. One boy, Moses, was put into a river inside of a basket. Later, the pharaoh's daughter found him, she knew that he was supposed to be killed, but she adopted him and raised him in the palace. Moses became very popular and well liked through out the palace. He could have become pharaoh. Moses defended a Jew by hiding a Egyptian Moses went into a desert which he became a shepherd. while in the desert he saw a burning bush. By observing the bush he heard god speak. God told Moses to tell pharaoh to let his people go. The pharaoh didn't listen. God sent 10 plates over the Egyptians. Finally, the pharaoh let the Jews leave Known as unleavened bread." Unleavened bread is important to the Jews because when fleeing Egypt they didn't wait for the bread to rise.
