A Message From Principal Dolan
Good afternoon MPE Families,
What a fun week of celebrating! We had Halloween Parties and Art Appreciation meetings. Thank you to the MPE PTA for organizing these events!
The MPE PTA also gave all the staff and faculty MPE masks! "You can't mask greatness!"
Parent Teacher Conferences will take place virtually on the afternoons of November 1, 2 and 3. The sign-up sheet was mailed out on Monday. Please be sure you signed up. We look forward to meaningful conversations aimed at helping all of our children succeed.
If you would like to order lunches for your student for the week of November 8th, be sure to sign up for lunches beginning on Sunday. We will open the form on Sunday, October 31 at 5 pm.
Thank you to the PTA for helping us buy books and shirts for the teachers!
Please remember to send in extra masks and water bottles for your children.
As always, thank you for your partnership in education. I feel very fortunate to work with such a collaborative, supportive educational community.

A Message From Our School Counselor
This week our magnificent MPE Lions participated in Red Ribbon Week! The students had the opportunity to learn about peer pressure, responsibility, and safety and the importance of staying drug free!
A huge thank you to our amazing PTA for providing our school with a banner and our students with bracelets with this year's theme: Drug Free Looks Like Me! I encourage families to continue to have these conversations with your children at home and click on the link to take the Red Ribbon Campaign Pledge. https://www.redribbon.org/pledge
We are also proud and excited to announce that MPE will be hosting a BMX Assembly Show on November 3rd! This dynamic assembly will kick-off our November break with a message about positive motivation while also teaching our children how to be an upstander with a strong message about no bullying and staying drug free. We will have two assemblies that day. One for grades K-2 and one for grades 3-5. The students to be able to have an opportunity to see this exciting presentation with a powerful message and we can’t wait! A huge thank you to our generous PTA for helping make this event happen!
