Elementary Reports On Student Progress
The purpose of this message is to review some reports general education K-4 families will receive in the next week as we approach Parent-Teacher Conferences. As a reminder, your child's first marking period report card goes home December 13.
READING PROFICIENCY REPORT (Coming home 10/11 with students)
Coming home this Friday in your child's home communication folder is their Reading Proficiency Report. This report is being sent home to all elementary students in LPS. The report will identify your student's Fountas & Pinnell reading level and their overall iReady fall reading proficiency level. In addition, the letter will establish their Individual Reading Improvement Plan (IRIP) status.
iREADY MATH PARENT REPORT (Given to families at Parent-Teacher Conferences)
At Parent-Teacher conferences, you will receive a copy of your child's Fall iReady math report. This report is just one of many that we use at Coolidge to help drive instruction in the area of math. Students will take iReady in the Winter and Spring as well.
IRIP (If applicable, given to families at Parent-Teacher Conferences)
If students do not meet the grade level criteria for BOTH the Fountas & Pinnell reading level and the iReady proficiency level for their grade, they will qualify for an IRIP (Individual Reading Improvement Plan). If applicable, details of the IRIP will be shared at Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Coolidge Fall Fun Run
The PTA is hoping the fun run will be our ONLY major fundraiser this year. We are raising money to fund assemblies, field trips ($5/student), school events (fall festival, ice cream social etc), classroom grants and more. Last year your donations allowed us to purchase 14 tablets and 2 charging carts for the school ($7000 value!) in addition to free events, class grants for supplies, computer programs, Scholastic weekly readers, field trips and more! THANK YOU!!!
Please help us make our goal by helping your child raise $50.00 in donations. Every student that fundraises ANY amount will receive a
special trinket!
