Ben Carson and his achievements

As you may know Ben Carson was a pediatric neurosurgeon for many years prior to running for the 2016 presidential election. Becauses of his experiences as a doctor Ben feels very strongly about the issue of abortion in America. In the past he has donated to programs that help mothers care for their children.
Education
Ben grew up in Detroit, Michigan in a low income, single parent household. He tried his best when it came to school, giving him the ambition to do great things. Such as, attend Yale university and in 2008 receive the Medal Of Freedom Award which is one of the highest honors. Also the Carson Scholar Fund was created in 1994 so kids like him could receive an education and better their lives. In America there are 46.7 million people in poverty, giving these people (especially children) a better education can be a step towards bettering the country.
Achievements
Published several books including "America the Beautiful" and "What we all can do to save America's future" making the New York Times Best Selling list.
He graduated from Yale with a major in psychology.
Was elected by the Library Of Congress to earn the position Library of Congress Living Legend
Was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom from the White House. (Nations highest civilian honor)
If he were to become President.....
Ensure that mothers are given the best resources possible to care for their babies, make them feel supported and give them acess to adoption services. 69% of women who get abortions are economically disadvantaged so changing the attitude towards these mothers and helping them could decrease the number of abortions as a whole.
Give quality medical supervision to patients, possibly create a health savings account tht patients can control.
