Chlamydia
It can prevent a woman from getting pregnant.
It spreads through sex.
Some symptoms include a burning sensation when urinating and swelling of the testicles in males.
Syphilis
It can spread from mother to child.
It spreads through contact with syphilis sores.
HPV
It is so common almost all sexually active men and women will get it.
HPV can cause cervical and other types of cancer.
Cervical cancer affects more than 10,00 women each year.
HIV/AIDS
It can be spread through sex and sharing needles.
AIDS is a stage of HIV. AIDS stands for acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. AIDS leaves you vulnerable to opportunistic diseases.
There is no cure.
