From the Principal's Desk
- We are so proud of our entire ADL Charger community for the hard work, positive energy, kindness, and support throughout the past two weeks as we have worked to launch this school year and meet its unique challenges together. Thank you for doing such a good job!
- For the latest information on ADL Athletics, please read this sports update from Mr. Barber.
- School pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, September 29 for Group A, and Thursday, October 1 for Group B. Lifetouch has provided twenty vouchers to ADL families needing assistance. Please reach out this week to our school counselor, Nicole Williams, at nwilliams@ewsd.org if you would like to request one of these vouchers.
- EWSD has purchased two masks for every student, and these arrived at ADL last Friday. Students will receive their masks this week in homeroom.

Social Distancing
Students are doing great remembering to stay 6 feet apart when they are waiting to enter the building in the morning. With the arrival of fall weather, it is important to come to school dressed for the cooler temperatures.
Breakfast Delivery
School meals are free for all until December 31st, or until USDA funding runs out. Ms. Bonnie delivers breakfast to classrooms every morning. You can order breakfast and lunch using this form from the EWSD Child Nutrition Program.
Classrooms Go Outside
Teachers are taking advantage of the sunny weather and getting students outside for class when they can. 8th graders in Ms. McGrath's class took chairs outside for independent reading last week.
