Principal's Notes and Highlights

Happy Friday!

It would be hard to top how this morning started. The Bicycle Station donated a new bicycle for the quarterly Husky Gram drawing. We take all the Husky Grams that students have won during the first quarter and put them in the drawing. Dane, 4th grade, was the winner! You could tell he was shocked to win, but very appreciative to the Battin family for the new bicycle! Even better were the high-fives and hugs he received from classmates who were just as excited to see him win. We very much appreciate the support of the Bicycle Station and all of our parents and community partners who make these types of events possible!

Whether you are staying close or heading out of town, I hope everyone has a great Fall Break. We look forward to having our students back on Monday, October 17th!

92 Huskies participated in Walk to School Day!

Pearson Perspective (Grades 3-6) A resource for parents

Below is information that was provided to schools by the Indiana Department of Education. This is just a resource similar to the ACT or SAT practice tests that high school students take to improve their scores.

Pearson Perspective: Pearson Perspective is a supplemental online instructional resource site that provides thousands of enrichment learning resources to help teachers and families improve their students’ performance. All of the supplemental resources are aligned to the Indiana Academic Standards to ensure students have access to materials that support their curriculum. Families can use the Learning Locator to access personalized learning for students based on their individual state test scores.
