A Caring Learning Community Celebrating Diversity

A Message from Our Principal

Dear Dumfries families,

We are now in the second half of our school year and our students are progressing very well. We are so proud of their growth. We need your support to help our students strengthen their skills in reading by setting aside time every night to read with your child or have them read to themselves. 20 minutes of nightly reading goes a long way to helping become strong students.

Our Dumfries families are always there when we have school events and for that, we thank you for your support. We are in need of you to come and join our PTO meetings. We will have our Advisory Meeting at 5:00 pm, followed by our PTO meeting at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 11. No experience necessary and all are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Thank you for all you do for Dumfries!

Sincerely,

Anita Magrath

A Message from our School Nurse

If your student has borrowed items from the clinic due to having an accident, we ask that you wash and return those items. We are short on pants. If your student has frequent accidents, it may be helpful to send a spare set of clothes to keep in their classroom, or in their backpack.
