K-5: At your designated time, you will drive up to the building your student would normally report to, following our regular dismissal traffic patterns. The staff will come to your car as you move through the parking lot.

  • Please have everything you are returning to the school (textbooks, library books, borrowed supplies, etc.) in a bag, in the trunk. As you pull forward and open your trunk a staff member will take these items and place personal items from the student’s classrooms and cubbies into your trunk.

  • You will only be able to pick up your own student's personal items. This is to ensure there is no confusion of items and for everyone's safety.

  • You must be in a vehicle to drop off and pick up items.

6-12th Grade: At your designated time, please park in the back parking lot spaces of the Henthorne building. Only one adult may accompany students. Staff will greet you at the door to give you instructions.

  • Only the student and one adult will enter the building. Please consider wearing a mask to protect us all.

  • Students will separate their work from packet 3 and any additional classwork, into teacher piles located in the cafeteria.

  • Student items from classrooms being returned to you will be bagged and placed in the atrium to pick up one your way to the lockers. (use the center staircase for lockers on the second floor)

  • At the lockers, students will empty and sort the contents as guided by the staff on hand.

  • When leaving the second-floor lockers, exit down the front stairway (closest to the front doors) and return to your car.

  • Classrooms will not be open and you will not be able to enter the offices. Those needing to speak with the office/Ms. Fisher will utilize the vestibule window one at a time.

  • In order to maintain the safest exchange for everyone involved, please understand there will be no socializing between students and the expectation will be to move through this process quickly and with physical distancing in place.

We appreciate all of the hard work and look forward to ending the year WEA STRONG!

FROM OUR PIE GUY (PARTNERS IN EDUCATION)

Hello fantastic Wildwood Students!

I miss all of you very much and hope this email finds you and your families healthy!

The reason I am emailing is that we have created some College and Career lessons online for students to do. They are very simple…students simply watch a video (20 minutes) and then answer three questions. Last week we created a financial literacy lesson and this week we had a career speaker lesson (Reed Steele of NASA).

Both lessons have hands-on activities that students can do if they want. The website to find these videos is https://partnerstoledo.org/ccrsg-online/ The hands on lessons are also attached to this site.

Thank you so much. Take care!!!

Sincerely,

Mark Schrock

A note from Mrs. Garrett~

Hello everyone! I just wanted to tell you that you all are doing a GREAT job getting your work done, logging into the online activities and joining the zoom sessions. Make sure you are working each day, so your work is returned on time. We will not be able accept late packets this time. If you have work left from packet two, make sure that is with packet 3. There are many friends in all of 4th and 5th grades with work missing. Remember, your work will receive a grade.

I am sad that this is how our year is wrapping up, we miss all of our students, but I hope you all are safe.

~ Mrs. Garrett
