T-BIRDS SOAR Better Together!
Third Grade Seussical
You may have already seen our Third Grade Seussical Video performance, but in case you missed it... it is spectacular! THANK YOU, MRS. NGUYEN!
THANK YOU, PTA!
Snacks Needed
The last time I sent a request to families to help us with a need, you provided!
We currently have plenty of water bottles to possibly ast the rest of the school year! We encourage students to drink water throughout the day, so if your child forgets their water bottle, it is okay! Have them ask their teacher for a bottle, as each classroom is kept stocked, thanks to you.
Back in January, we asked for snacks. We are down to a box or two of pretzels which may last us for this week. Typically we have churches that have donated snacks for our classrooms and teachers can then easily get snacks from our snack closet when they need extras for students who don't bring a snack. This year we do not have those resources available. All of our students are given the opportunity to eat a snack every day, some students bring a snack, but many do not. There are several parents who provide additional snacks for students by sending enough for the class from time to time which is very helpful. Teachers will not let any student go without a snack!
We know that this year has caused budget changes for many families. If you are able to provide snacks for our student snack closet, it would be so very helpful. Any quantity will be appreciated.
Please be sure snacks are individually wrapped items (not bulk) such as:
Individually wrapped pretzels / potato chips / doritos / chex mix, etc.
Individually wrapped fruit snacks
Individually wrapped granola bars
Individually wrapped crackers (i.e. cheese/peanut butter)
Much appreciation for your help.

Warmer Weather, Healthier Habits
As the weather gets warmer, activities move outside. Although being outdoors is less risky than being indoors, we are still fighting the spread of COVID-19.
This month's Report to Parents, "Warmer Weather, Healthier Habits," provides families with strategies to build healthy habits before they head out to local playgrounds and parks or play on sports teams this spring.
