Girls Who Code Club-Thursdays During Lunch
Girls Who Code was founded with a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology.
Cavazos wants to help with building the largest pipeline of future female engineers in the United States. We will do this by offering girls opportunities to deepen computer science skills as well as their confidence. By developing a supportive sisterhood of peers and role models, we will help our girls persist and succeed.
Girls Who Code Club meets Thursdays during the 3 lunches. Girls will need a pass to participate, which they will get from the library. Then, students will bring their lunch to the library during their lunch period to participate in the day's activities. Students can visit with Mrs. McNeal, our Girls Who Code advisor, for more details.
