Open for Intermediate and Advanced level of dance students and professional dancers.

TEADE 'ARTISTIC DIRECTOR - Jose Angel Carret

Jose Angel Carret - TEADE Founder Artistic Director / awarded principal dancer, teacher and choreographer from Cuba, Jose Angel Carret created more than 60 works over his 30 years career as a principal dancer and choreographer. First shared his dance style, experience and heritage with Canadian audiences as a guest dancer with Decidedly Jazz dance Works Calgary 2005,later on with Dance Immersion’ Erie Music Festival 2010 and The International Conference for Blacks in Dance 2012, Newton Moraes Dance Theatre 2010, and has been a guest teacher and choreographer for Ballet Creole Company and School since 2008. Guest Choreographer for Ballet Jorgen ‘Solos and Duets 2011-12. Since 2014 he is a Dance Instructor at Stars Onstage Dance and Performing Arts . Jose is the Founder Artistic Director of Danza Corpus ( Cuba) and Danza Corpus Canada (DCC). DCC was awarded with the Aboriginal and Culturally Diverse Training Grant (2014-15-16) and Mr Carret was selected by the Ontario Arts Council to be an advisor for the Operational grants 2016 . Last September Mr Carret was a guest teacher at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem , USA . Carret is also founder artistic director of The Carret Dance Conservatory ( 2017 - Toronto - Canada)

Julio Zurita- Choreographer - Argentina

A graduate from the Contemporary Dance Workshop of the San Martín Theater. In his time in Spain he created four shows;in Buenos Aires,he debuted with his work “Laberinto” as Director of the Ballet of the Astor Piazzolla Foundation. He was an advisor in dance and choreography for the "Fundación Astor Piazzolla", also an actor and choreographer in the short film "La invencion de Morel". He performs the choreography in the movie “Palermo Hollywood”. He was assistant choreographer in the International Musical Theater Company directed by Chet Walker and Ricky Pashkus. He staged choreographies for the show “tangos por vos” by Julia Zenko; created and staged the choreographies and co-directed “Cirtango”, winner of the ACE Award “Best Coffee Concert Show 2003”, where he also participated as a guest artist. He also composes the choreography for the show “Bajo Fondo Tango Club” directed by Gustavo Santaolalla. He composes the choreographies of “Animal Porteño”, a show by Marcela Paoli. He directs and assembles the choreographies of various corporate events such as the launch of "Nativa" Coca Cola Argentina and B-Men perfume. He directs and assembles the choreographies of “Doble corte”. He is hired as an associate choreographer for the "Evita" Korean version. He creates the company ladoCiego that currently directs and premieres the work "middleweight".With this company, he toured New Zealand . He directed and choreographed of the house “Abasto tango”. He also performed choreographies in commercials for "Coca Cola" Spain, "Wanadoo" France, "Parmiggiano Reggiano" Italy, "BN" France, "Sedal" Argentina, "Expedia" Germany, "Telefonica" Spain, "Swatch" (with Blueman Group ) UK, "Ambient" USA, "Verizon" and "Playtex" USA, "Seat" Spain, "Renault" France, "Nevsky Center" Russia, among others. Zurita presented the show Arrabal, created together with Gustavo Santaolalla, Sergio Trujillo and John Waistman as a world premiere in Toronto in February 2014. Also , at the XV Ibero-American Theater Festival in Bogotá 2016 and finally he presented with this company at the American Repertorio Theater Boston in May 2017. Arrabal has just been awarded two important Ellios Norton Awards by the Association of Theater Critics of Boston, USA. In 2018 he created two short films, as director and choreographer. In 2019 he creates Luz de día, a choreographic project in a private space. In 2020 he plans to start the assembly of Hotel Maquina Roja, with a premiere in Buenos Aires.
