The Hunger Games Book Reveiw
ONLY ONE PERSON CAN WIN, WILL KATNISS
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is a great book about a dark vision of the future where a place called The Capitol rules the world. Each year to remind everyone that they are in charge The Capitol gets each of the twelve districts to write down every eleven to eighteen year olds names in the district and put them in two clear bowls, one for the boys and one for the girls. One girl and one boy from each district gets chosen as a “tribute” for their district to compete for the hunger games, which is a live TV show that everyone is forced to watch. In the games there is only one rule: kill or be killed. When sixteen year Katniss Everdene volunteers for her eleven year old sister, Prim’s place in the games she has no idea what she’s in for.
I think that The Hunger Games is a book for eleven year olds and up because it does has some violence in it. This is also a good book if you like books that has action.
In my opinion The Hunger Games is definitely in the top five books that I have read and I can’t wait to read the other two!
About Suzanne Collins
Suzanne Collins got the idea for The Hunger Games when she was watching TV. she was flicking through channels and one channel was a reality TV show where some people were competing for something and another one was the news where there was a live broadcast of a war. the lines started to blur because she was tired and then it came to her.
In The Hunger Games Katniss knows a lot about what plants to eat, most of those are real plants that Suzanne didn't make up suzanne knew all of these plants because her dad was in the navy and knew about that sort of thing. Each day he would bring home wild mushrooms, although Suzanne's mum never let her have any her dad always did and never got sick because of it.
