Tyngsborough Scholarship Trust
April is the Door to Door Drive month for the Tyngsborough Scholarship Trust. High school seniors who have applied for a TST scholarship will be participating in the Door to Door drive and will canvas neighborhoods in Tyngsborough raising money for scholarships. TST Scholarship applicants can be identified by a large red TST badge. We thank you in advance for supporting this effort. Last year the TST awarded over $45,000 in scholarships largely due to the generosity of the Tyngsborough community. If you work for a company that matches donations, you can double your donation to scholarship drive. BAE Systems, Digital Credit Union, Fidelity, JC Penney, and Raytheon are just a few of the companies that participate in the matching gift program.
If your high school senior is participating in the door to door drive, please know that the first turn in for funds collected will be on Wednesday April 11th in two locations: In the high school lobby from 7:00 -7:25 a.m., and in the Town Hall lobby from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. The second and final turn in for funds collected will be on Wednesday May 2nd in the same locations at the same times. TST scholarship applicants must also sign up for an interview in the Student Services office. Interviews will take place on April 24th and 25th between 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Scholarship awards will be presented at the High School Awards Night on May 23rd. We are grateful for the support of the community for their participation in our fundraising events which have enabled us to award scholarships to many deserving students for the past 55 years.
