Principal's Update
Scappoose Students, Families, and Staff,
The school year is off to a hot start! The energy is electric in the classrooms, hallways, and on all the fields and courts! There are so many events coming up this next few weeks, please reference the details below. Tonight is our first home football game on the new turf field. So much hard work and generosity have made a new facility a reality. Thank you to all our donors and businesses that have given so much to our school and community. We will have booths set up tonight, great food, and a huge contest versus Estacada. Also, tonight we retire the number 14, worn by no other than hometown legend Derek Anderson, please arrive early to honor his accomplishments as an SHS student-athlete! Please see below for some important dates and upcoming events.
See you all next week!

ACADEMICS
Schedules:
Students can access their schedules on StudentVue. Make sure to check your schedule on the first day of school as counselors are still working on changes.
Counselors are working hard on finalizing schedules. Please be aware that the counseling office is getting a high volume of schedule change requests and that your schedule may not be up to date on the first day of school. We ask for your patience as we continue to work diligently to get appropriate requests completed.
Schedules changes can only be made for the following reasons:
The student was misplaced in a class (example: student needs Algebra but was placed in Geometry)
The student is missing a class needed for graduation
The student has already taken the class and does not need to repeat it
All schedule change requests must be submitted by completing the online Schedule Change Form. If you do not have a phone or access to a computer to request a change, please come to the counseling office. The last day to make schedule changes will be September 12th at 4 PM.
