Sightreading Factory

All Choir Students have another Major Grade Sightreading Factory assignment due by Wednesday, December 7th at 11:30pm. Please make sure you complete this ON TIME and SUBMIT a recording! Students only get 5 tries and must submit a recording when they feel it is their best. Resets on this assignment will not happen if students max out their attempts and do not submit the assignment.

Flag Flyer Distribution

Students will be placing flag subscription doorhangers on all doors of homes in subdivisions that we currently place flags. Doorhangers can be placed on the front door of the houses, but DO NOT PUT DOORHANGERS IN MAILBOXES! IT IS AGAINST THE LAW!

Students have received their packets this week and all doorhangers must be distributed by Sunday, December 4.

The packets will include a route along with approximately 50-75 doorhangers per route, and students will earn 30 service points per packet which can be used for voice lessons, trip payments, and more!

If you sign up, it means that you have COMMITTED to take part in handing out doorhangers to each home in your packet(s).

Pop Show Audition Results

Thank you and fabulous job to everyone who auditioned for Pop Show! Results are below. The order you see below does not designate show order. Several songs have been changed to better fit the theme and the student's voice. If you have any questions about a song change please come see Ms. White and Mr. Ragsdale. All soloists please fill out the google form below acknowledging your acceptance of your solo.

Please take a moment to look ahead to the week of pop show on our full calendar. It is a very busy week for our students! Students must be eligible to participate in Pop Show in February.

Students will select their class songs for pop show after our Winter Concert and during finals week.

Winter Concert - DATE CHANGE!!

We are already looking forward to our Winter Concert coming up in December, but there is a slight change of plans. Our concert will now be December 12th at 7:00pm. This change is due to the combined orchestra needs for this concert. The change has been made on our calendar page and will be communicated to students.

Chorale will also be performing at the Orchestra Concert on December 8th at 7:00pm. Call time and other information will come later as logistics are worked out.

Choir Class Representatives

If you are interested in a choir class representative or council position please fill out the google form below!

Handel's Messiah in the Community

The Concert Choir & Orchestra, along with special guest soloists, present Handel’s Messiah at Christ Presbyterian Church at 8 pm December 15, 16 & 17, 2022.

Free general admission tickets will be available at 7 pm each evening for that evening’s performance. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early!

This is not a required event for students, but it is a great opportunity to see one of the most famous musical works. It is a standard of the Holiday season, and Chorale will be performing some of the choruses on our Winter concert!

Solo and Ensemble

Solo and Ensemble is quickly approaching in February. If you are in voice lessons, you should be participating, and if you are not in lessons and would like to sing, please let us know after Thanksgiving Break!

We have to submit names before Winter Break. If we submit your name and pay for your entry and you do not show up or become ineligible, you will need to reimburse the choir for the entry fee.

You do have to be eligible to sing in a solo or in an ensemble.
