Introducing Mr. Pressley, Our New High School Theatre Teacher

As a FWISD alum he is excited to return and help the new generation of students develop their passion of Theatre. After high school he graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Musical Theatre Performance and moved to New York City to pursue his acting career. He travelled the world as a cruise ship singer and performed all over the country in regional musical theatre productions. He married his high school best friend in 2021 and currently enjoys playing monopoly with his wife and two children, watching Netflix and working out.

Human Trafficking Education

Your child is being invited to participate in PROTECT, a human trafficking prevention education program, which is being provided through Human Trafficking Youth Prevention Education Demonstration Program through the Office on Trafficking in Persons. This prevention program was designed to empower students to know the signs of potential danger and trust their gut to report it to an adult. Follow the link below to learn more and accept or decline this opportunity. This can easily be done on a smartphone and takes no more than a minute or two. All you will need is your child's student id number.

Late Busses

It has become an issue that occasionally a morning bus may be running unusually late. To help families know when this is happening, once I get the notification, I will then send out an email the same way I send this newsletter out. The notification will detail the bus number that is running late. Please make sure you know your child's morning and afternoon bus numbers. Additionally, I will also begin sending messages when there is an issue with an afternoon bus route. If a better system can be designed or there is a change in this system, I will provide that update in the weekly newsletter.
