More Shout Outs!
Shout Out! to the Forest Hills MS Beta Club from Winstead Elementary - "Winstead would like to thank the Beta Club for going above and beyond to support us. They purchased a sound system for us to use during afternoon dismissal. The Beta Club is an academic club that promotes service, achievement and leadership. They most certainly exhibited all of these traits with their support of our school, and we are grateful!"
Shout Out! to Instructional Technology Facilitator Joseph Hayes from WECA Social Studies Teacher Shannon Campbell - "Mr. Hayes has been extremely helpful to me and my class. He assisted me in facilitating a breakout session as well as planning review games and activities for students to access on their Chromebooks. He also configured a set of Streambooks that were donated to my class through DonorsChoose and assisted me in applying for a mini-grant through the Wilson Education Partnership. We are so thankful that he is here on Fridays to help with all of our technology needs!"
Shout Out! to Hearne ES Behavior Interventionist David Applewhite from all of your colleagues at Hearne - "Mr. Applewhite does an excellent job interacting with our students. He is calm and caring, and the students listen to him. He helps them with their work and can be seen having mini conferences with them in the hallway to help them focus on better behavior. We hope the students realize just how lucky they are to have him looking out for them!"
