Magnets
Are Awesome
Introduction
Have you ever wondered how magnetism was discovered? Magnetism was NOT invented but discovered by a shepherd named Magnes in ancient Greece. Magnetism is a power of force that repels or attracts. Magnets can be used in electricity by using a circuit and put a paper clip next to it that is called an electromagnet.
What Are Magnets
Have you ever wondered what are magnets? In this paragraph you will figure everything you need to know. Magnets are an electrical circuit that produces a magnetic field which attracts to nearby magnets containing iron in the power of the battery. A magnetic field is the power or force that attracts magnets in the power of the battery.
Electromagnets
Electromagnets are everywhere in doorbells, headphones, radios and telephones Electromagnets is a circuit that makes itself magnetised that when you put a paper clip next to it, it will attract because the electrical circuit produces a magnetic field which attracts to magnets. Magnets are made when electricity flow through a wire that creates a magnetic field that makes magnets attract on the power of the battery. Hans Christian Oersted discovered in 1820 that a wire from a battery creates an electrical circuit that makes a magnetic field.
History Of Magnets
Have you ever wondered the beginning of the evolution of magnets? Magnes (a greek shepherd) discovered magnets in ancient Greece how it happened is that his nails in his shoe and his shepherd stuff were attracted to a black rock called lodestone. (lode = lead or attracts) Lodestone is magnetised by a piece of mineral called magnetite that makes lodestone get iron so that it is a natural magnet.
Conclusion
Conclusion
Magnets are really amazing they were discovered over 2000 years ago. WOW I can’t believe that magnets are this old even is like something brand new nobody would of thought that magnets were discovered a long time ago but so new. Electromagnets are kind of weird because you might think how can a circuit create an electromagnet. Magnets are really interesting about how it’s history and its relationship with electricity.
Glossery
Magnetite - A kind of magnet / mineral a dimand for example is a mineral
