A Note From Mr. Christ
Dear Paddock Families,
In the spirit of thinking about others, our Holiday Shop event, which allows students an opportunity to purchase gifts for families members and loved ones, will be starting tomorrow. We hope this event will remind our students of the importance and joy of giving to others, especially during this time of year. Your student's classroom teacher will be providing the day/time their class will be shopping. Please reach out to your child's teacher with any questions and have a great rest of your weekend.
Sincerely-
Jason Christ

Holiday Shop
The Holiday Shop is an annual event at Paddock that allows students an opportunity to purchase gifts for parent, family members, and friends. This program makes it possible for children to experience the joy of choosing their own special gift for a loved one or friend. During their scheduled time, students will be able to go to the shop and buy these gifts. PTA volunteers will be present to support the students with picking items, counting money, etc.
On the day your student is scheduled to shop, you can send them to school with money to make these purchases. The Holiday Treasures website has the list of items that are for sale for anyone who would like to preview them before your student shops. Please reach out to your student's classroom teacher with any questions.

Winter Wishes
Winter Wishes is a program that, in the past, has shown the unbelievable generosity from our community to make sure all our Paddock students have clothing, books, toys and winter outwear. Given these uncertain times, this program is as important as it has ever been.
This year, we are asking for hats, gloves, shorts, leggings, masks, snacks and gift cards (NO ELECTRONIC CARDS) to Walmart, Jewel and Target. For gift cards, any amount is welcome but denominations of $25 and under are most helpful. Gift cards can be brought to or mailed to the main office or turned into your student's teacher. Items will also be collected at Paddock School. There is a labeled bin in the vestibule at the main door.
Please see this sign up sheet to view what items still need to be collected. The deadline for accepting donations in 12/8/21.
Thank you for your support. If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Worst worstjessica@gmail.com

Mini-Grant Fund-A-Thon
The one-five Foundation is once again offering an annual mini-grant program for staff members of Community Consolidated School District 15. These proposed projects support a wide range of opportunities for the students of the District with a focus on programs or technology.
This year, 13 grant applications have been preliminarily approved by the Foundation for funding. While the one-five Foundation Teacher Mini-Grant Committee has preliminarily approved these projects, additional funds are needed to make them a reality. These amazing projects could have an impact on thousands of students across all grade levels in 12 different school locations throughout the district.
You can help! Please consider making a donation to the one-five Foundation Teacher Mini-Grant program to help our teachers help our children. Project details can be found on the one-five website along with options for online donations.
Thank you in advance for your support of our teachers and staff members and their proposed projects!

The District 15 mobile app is available on the App Store and Google Play! To download the free app, search for "CCSD15".
This communication tool allows parents and students quick access to important school and district information, including Campus Parent, the D15 Bullying Tip Line, a quick link to MyStop (bus stop location and pick-up times), lunch menus, schedules, parent/student handbook, directory information, school news, and more.
- To see integrated student information on the app, click the "student information" button and log-in using your email address and your Campus Parent password. If you are unsure of your password, please visit Infinite Campus and click "forgot password." If you are still having trouble, please contact your school's main office for assistance.
- To make sure you aren’t missing any notices, make sure you turn notifications ON for the mobile app.
If you are not a D15 parent or staff member and would like to receive District updates, download the free mobile app to receive push notifications. Go to notifications, settings, and choose the schools you wish to receive push notifications from.
Masks
Please make sure you are sending at least 1-2 additional clean masks with your child each day. These masks should be well fitting and cover both the student's nose and mouth without the student needing to continually pull the mask up. Having a well fitting mask is imperative to keeping our students safe and limiting close contacts, should a positive case arise. Thank you for your help in this.
Health Office
As a reminder, if you student is showing any signs of COVID-19, please keep them home from school. Additionally, if they awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, we encourage you to have them stay home until those results come in. Being able to certify that your student is healthy and able to come to school will be extremely beneficial as we move into the colder months of the year.
If your child has a Health Care plan for asthma or an allergy OR has medication they need to take at school, please make sure you read the linked documents and get in contact with Mrs. Pool, our Paddock nurse. You can reach her at 847-963-5802 or poolk@ccsd15.net.
