Parent/Teacher Conferences - Early Dismissal TODAY!

Please be advised that there are Parent/Teacher conferences today. Students will have early dismissal at 12:25 pm. Conferences will run from 2:00 pm to 4:50 pm. Teachers have sent out a sign up genius to sign up for a time slot. If you have any questions, please contact your student's teacher.

Attendance Awareness Month

The month of September is Attendance Awareness Month. To help celebrate, students will be able to pay $3.00 (cash) on September 27th to wear their pajamas. Pajamas must be school appropriate. All proceeds will go towards our beautification fund.

No School - Monday, September 30th

Due to staff professional development, there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 30th.

PTO Step It Up Fundraiser

Our PTO 'Step It Up' fundraiser is off to a GREAT start! Thank you to all the families that have participated. Remember, you have until October 1st to turn in your money. If you have any questions, please contact the PTO.

Medium Uniform Shirts are in!

Great news! We've received youth medium uniform shirts. You are able to purchase uniforms during office hours which are 7:35 am to 2:00 pm and again from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Save the Date - ESL Night

Don't forget to mark your calendars for our ESL Night which will be held on Thursday, October 10th starting at 6:00 pm. More information will be sent out soon!

National Day Out - September 28th, 2019

Join Commissioner Meyers and Constable Thompson Saturday, September 28, for National "DAY" Out with Precinct 3. Meet the first responders & public agencies who serve your community, take tours of emergency vehicles, enjoy FREE food, inflatables, face painting, interactive games, and more!

The main role of our school’s PTO is to build strong working relationships among parents, teachers, and our schools, in support of students. If this is something that might interest you, please do not hesitate to sign up! Click here to access the membership form. Once completed, drop it off with payment to the white PTO box located to the left of the front office windows.

Only 2 days left for GATE referrals!

In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Harmony Public Schools will begin taking referrals for kindergarten and newly-enrolled students in grades 1-12 for gifted and talented screening. Anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may refer them for assessment.


Referral forms are available at the front office and on the school’s web site.


The forms must be returned to the front office by Friday, September 27, 2019. G/T assessment period will take place in October and NWEA MAP scores will be used as a screening tool.

Join us for "Coffee with a Cop" on Wednesday, October 2nd from 8:30 - 9:30 am. This event will be held in Cafeteria B.
