Students and Phone Use
Students can use the main office telephone in emergencies only. Please be sure your child knows the plan for the end of the day before they come to school. All playdates need to be arranged at home. Student cell phones and other “Smart” devices must be kept with the ringer off and in bookbags. Cell phones and other Smart devices may be confiscated if out or in use at school. Greetings Flynn families!
This month, I have seen so much joy at Flynn Elementary School! Teachers, staff, and students have worked so hard to create a positive, welcoming learning environment that is also a safe place to stretch ourselves to practice curiosity and to grow our academic skills.
Report cards will be on their way to families on Friday, November 18th - teachers are hard at work putting thoughtful comments into each report card. I look forward to meeting and reconnecting with families during parent-teacher conferences on the 21st and 22nd.

It's time to place your preorder for Flynn Firefly apparel made by New Duds! Items are available in black, green, and grey, and in sizes from child to adult. Order by December 2, 2022 for delivery before the winter break.
We will be collecting canned food and Hannaford gift cards throughout the month of November. The food collected will be distributed to Flynn Families in need. If you are interested in receiving a box please contact Emily Russen (erussen@bsdvt.org) or Jill Everett (jeverett@bsdvt.org).
Saint Marks - Saint Marks is able to deliver fully cooked Thanksgiving meals to your home. All you have to do is call them to get on their spreadsheet and they will give you further details. Their number is: (802) 864-7686
La Boca Wood Fired Pizzeria - La Boca is partnering with the Bagel Cafe & Deli to offer no-cost Thanksgiving meal kits for families. The kits will be fully cooked. Families will have to pick up their kits between 12:30-3:30pm on Thanksgiving day at La Boca. (Vegan and Gluten Free Kits Available). To sign up, email nnepizzajobs@gmail.com and they will email you back to confirm a pick up time. **Sign up ends on November 20th and no more than 4 meals are provided.
