Del Norte High School placed 3rd over 10 other teams around the Valley at the Envirothon meet this month. The students participating in Envirothon for 2019 are Kaylee Metz, Logan Cestone, Eric Lorenz, and Aden Howell. Good job to all the students and Mr.Hintz, and good luck on your next met.

If you are wondering what Envirothon is here’s a little snapshot. Envirothon promotes high school kids with a desire to learn about the natural environment to obtain the knowledge of environmental issues. Students learn basic knowledge of resource management and ecology; it usually covers land use/soil, aquatic ecology, forestry, wildlife, and environmental issues. This also promotes critical thinking, cooperative problem solving, and decision making skills. These skills help with making a balance between the quality of life and the quality of the environment.

You have a chance to show off your perseverance, setting your mind on something, you're not going to stop 'till you succeed. Pay attention to your senses as they come alive.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 19)

This is the perfect time to tackle difficult tasks, especially with the good luck on your side. There will be jealous people as things go your way, but you can't help that.

Truth and higher meaning are what you're looking for; you wont know where to it, but it'll come. Be open to new experiences and advice. You aren't in a confrontational mood and that's okay, it's alright to be on the sidelines, unless you're asked directly to be involved.

Aries (Mar. 21 - Apr. 19)

Life is going to be exciting this month as you have new adventures. Maybe cross some things off your bucket list, it's never too early or too late to do so! You will be taken to interesting places this month, as long as you're open to new experiences.
