The Grade Mock Interviewers Needed!
Saturday, November 14th 2:15-3:30
Dear Grade parents and friends,
We need your help to interview a sophomore or junior high school student during the Saturday, November 14th session of The Grade!
During the activity segments of the September & October sessions and during the corresponding individual mentoring sessions, we have taught the students the basics of writing a resume and interviewing. At this point, they should have created a resume, and the culmination of this project will be the mock interview! This is where the Grade intersects with your generosity to help.
Your role as an interviewer will be to act as a representative of the "City of Houston Events Planning Committee" and determine whether the candidate is qualified and somebody you would hire (interview), and then tell the applicant why (feedback). Each interview should last approximately 20 minutes, followed by about 10 minutes of feedback (Saturday, November 14, 2:15-3:30pm).
Interviewing experience is not necessary but it is preferred.
Please let me know by completing the Google Form below whether you will or will not be able to help us on November 14th!
Students will wear business attire.
