A Message from our School Counselor......
Next Wednesday is Unity Day! This is the day we all wear orange to show that we stand united as a community against bullying. As a campus, our students will be listening to the story, One by Kathryn Otoshi and completing a project for our Unity Tree. I cannot wait to see how our tree turns out!
I have also been covering this topic in my guidance lessons for this month. The books I am using help teach the kids kind words, actions, manners, and how to recognize and protect ourselves from bullying . These are great books to use at home as well!

A Message from Nurse Abby.....
Happy Fall Bears!
We have now been using our new clinic for 3 weeks. The students love it and I love it! So thankful to Wylie ISD for providing a safe, comfortable place to help our sick Bears. Feel free to come say Hi and take a peek next time you are in the building.
Please remember to send a refillable water bottle to school with your child! Staying hydrated is very important to your child’s health and ability to focus in class. Children’s Health recommends taking half of your child's weight (up to 100 pounds) – and that's the number of ounces of water they should drink every day (for example, an 80-pound child should drink 40 ounces of water).
Please remember to get your flu shots.
Stay Healthy,
Nurse Abby
