If your child was absent on Picture Day or if you'd like to have your child's picture retaken, this is your opportunity! Individual picture packets have gone home or will be going home today to all students who had their picture taken October 3rd. Class pictures have not yet arrived from LifeTouch.

Our Superintendent, Dr. Michael Thomas, will be speaking about the Strategic Plan moving into the Academic Master Plan, and the role the SAC will play in that work.


Mr. Jeff Veley, a national motivational speaker, will give an important presentation you will not want to miss on "Resilience Education for Bullying Prevention."


This exciting evening is open to all parents and community members. Middle and high school students are encouraged to attend. Child care will be provided for children ages preschool to 12 years old.


Location: Tesla Professional Development Center Auditorium at 2560 International Circle.

Buena Vista will be honoring Veteran's Day during the morning of Monday, November 11th. We welcome you to join us in singing patriotic songs, listening to stories, and sharing small tokens of appreciation with our Veterans.


Plan to arrive at the school no later than 8:10 as the program will begin promptly at 8:15 and run until 8:30.


Please pass this information along to any friends or family who would like to come and help us celebrate all our Veterans and active duty service members.

We still have many items--a lot of hoodies and light jackets!--seeking their rightful homes! Lost and found is located in the main hallway near the drinking fountain and inside gym doors. Please come and check to see if your child's items might be among the lost! All unclaimed items will be donated to charity after parent/guardian teacher conferences!

Please go to the ParentConnection application login at https://d11connect.d11.org/ParentPortal. You will need your PIN and password. If you do not know your PIN and password, click on the “Need Your Login Information?” link, enter your email address, and you will receive an email containing your PIN and password. After you have logged in, click on your child's picture. Then click on "Marks" (left side of the screen), and "Quarter 1 2019-2020" (you can click on "Click Here" to print).
