Colorado

From Ron Johns the Colorado State Rep:

The Officials-Coaches clinic was conducted in September with a focus on Rules, Rules, Rules including an interactive, you make the call. Where coaches and officials review situations and the audience selects from multiple choice the correct call.

Congratulations to Colorado Meet Official, Monica Abelein who has been selected to sit on the NFHS rules committee.

The Fall-Winter Coaches Invitational where all classifications compete together, is being held the 20-21 of December. Which typically is a very fast meet

The Girls State Meet will be in February with three classifications at a single venue running Thursday thru Tuesday the following week.

The Adaptive/United Athlete offering at the state meet continues to grow. At finals we have a demonstration heat(s) at the start of finals where any team member athlete that is classified by their school can complete. All receiving recognition and memento of their participation

I will have more to share once the girls season wraps up and the boys season begins.
