Attendance/Tardy Policy
Punctuality is a life skill that we continue to model at RMS. This past Friday, we conducted our first tardy sweep between 2nd and 3rd hour. This procedure is in place to ensure students are using their time wisely in the hall and arriving to class in a timely, safe manner. This first "Sweep" served as a warning and a teachable moment as we closed out week 2. Moving forward, attendance intervention and consequences will take place for future tardy sweeps.
TikTok Challenge - IMPORTANT
Parents - there is a National TikTok challenge in which students are instructed to trash the restrooms at school. Please have a conversation with your child about respecting their school. It's not only frustrating to talk with students about vandalism but disheartening.
If students trash a restroom, we are forced to close it down until it can be repaired or cleaned. When caught, students will de disciplined by the school, have to pay restitution, as well as face potential citations from Fraser Police.
After School Activity Expectations
- Students must leave RMS building for after school events. For Volleyball/Basketball, students may re-enter RMS 15 minutes prior to the start of the game through door 37.
- Backpacks are allowed at RMS events that take place directly after school, however subject to backpack checks.
- No backpacks allowed for FHS Athletic Events
- No outside balls or noise makers at events
- No outside food or drink is permitted
- Students are expected to sit in the bleachers and not walk around the facility or gather in common areas unless utilizing the concession stand or bathroom.
- Students are not to sit or walk to Visiting Bleachers
- No standing on the fence/rail line of bleachers to avoid obstructing view and exits
- Once all students have their IDs they must have them for all games
- If students cannot abide by these expectations they will be asked to leave

Reminder - Outside Food and Beverage Policy
The District does not allow the delivery of food and beverages from outside vendors or fast food establishments for a student’s breakfast or lunch meal. All meals are to be provided by either our Food Service program or prepared at home and sent with your student. The District works hard to provide a variety of healthy, good-tasting food in its cafeterias, and students are always free to bring their own lunch to school.
Student ID Cards
If a student loses their ID, they may come to the Media Center to purchase a replacement ID for $3.00.
In addition, students must carry their IDs with them at all times. Lanyards are available for purchase in the Knights Nook, as an option.
