Student Attendance
Students in all grades at Southworth are participating in high numbers! Students start the day in morning meetings where they connect with their classroom community and get set up for a successful day of learning. We miss all our students being on campus and look forward to when we can safely return. Until that time, keep up the good work participating in your learning! If your student is experiencing barriers to participating in our remote learning program that we could support, please call our school counselor Mr. Harrison at 360-522-9040 or email at Jordan_Harrison@ycs.wednet.edu.
Military Status Update
Yelm Community Schools partners with the Department of Defense to support our military families/students through several grants totalling $2.5 Million dollars. The great thing about this is that all students benefit from these additional funds. Each year the district needs to report to the Department of Defense the number of military-connected students we have in the district. The more military-connected families we can identify the more likely DoD will be willing to continue funding these types of grants. We are asking all military connected families to either contact their school's office and let them know your military connected status or you can login to Family Access and indicate your military status there. Below are screenshots for where to do that.
