example- When someone copy's someone else's work
Freeware-
software that is available free of charge.
example- when you buy something from apple iTunes
Shareware-
software that is available free of charge and often distributed informally for evaluation, after which a fee may be requested for continued use.
example- when you can try something for a amount of time a trial

requirement for copyright notice.
example- It is the big amount of words on the back of the dvd or something
Open Source-
its software that includes the source so someone can make it better
example- fire fox
Public Domain-
the state of belonging or being available to the public as a whole, and therefore not subject to copyright.
example- Something that is not protected by copyright
