Week at a Glance
Reading:
I can make wonderings about what I am reading.
I can cite evidence from the pictures and the text to answer my wonderings.
Phonics:
I can identify short vowels (u).
Writing:
I can practice writing with my best handwriting. I can identify the R and A in our RACE statement.
Math: I can add and subtract up to 10 using a number rack.
Science: I can identify the life cycle of a butterfly.
MORAL FOCUS - Wisdom
For the month of September we will focus on the Moral Focus Virtue "Wisdom." I can understand the different between right and wrong.

Step 1: Say letter sounds , blend together , say word
Step 2: Read nonsense words , set a timer for 1 minute. See how many they can read.
