Halloween Fun
The Fall tradition of Halloween is right around the corner! We will celebrating the season as we did last year. Our celebration will be held on Thursday, October 31st and we encourage all students to dress up and participate in the fun. Costumes must be appropriate for school however. Students should not show an excessive amount of skin and costumes should not be extremely gory in nature, have a large amount of blood involved, or have a weapon of any kind. Given the happenings in the past, we are also banning clown costumes of any kind. Students should not come to school with any part of their costume on, including colored hair. They will have time to put on their costumes before the parade. Students should bring the basics of their costume and save the extras for the evening, such as make-up and hair color.
Students will participate in a school-wide parade followed by a party in their classrooms. Due to limited space and parking, we cannot accommodate parents who wish to watch the parade. Teachers will be reaching out for parent assistance and donations for the parties. Only parents that signed up through the teacher will be permitted to attend the parties.
For our students who do not celebrate Halloween, a special Fall party and celebration is being planned.
