Underground railroad

The underground railroad was an escape route for the slaves in the south. It was not really a railroad. It was not just an escape route it was also filled with hiding spots. Alot of people escaped through the underground railroad.

Early Cival war battles

Confedarate troops won most of the early cival war battles. Many fierce battles threatend Washington D.C., and richmond virginia.

Later Cival War Battles

The union had the advandage of more people and greater recources. In the last years of the war, it gained control over more and more of the confederacy. At the end of the war the union gained control and defeted the confederate.
