Young Entrepreneurs Program
REAP, Inc, a year around multicultural youth leadership program committed to empowering the next wave of leaders. REAP works with students in grades 3rd through 12th, especially our marginalized student population.
REAP would like to invite our Warrior students to be a part of their Young Entrepreneurs Program (YEP)!
The Young Entrepreneurs Program (YEP) is a FREE career leadership program focused on entrepreneurial education & innovation. Students are given the opportunity to develop baseline skills in pursuing entrepreneurial ventures, strengthen public speaking skills, and foster networking skills to build relationships with community members, mentors, and potential business investors.
While everything in our world seems to be virtual, REAP and YEP students have been on the forefront of creating platforms for students to network and engage with top entrepreneurs, CEO's, and business leaders in our community as well as the nation through program curriculum. Here are some examples:
Set It Off
A monthly Zoom networking event held to connect young entrepreneurs in K-12 schools with entrepreneurs from the community. This event is led and coordinated by YEP students. During the first half of this event, attendees are provided the opportunity to hear from one keynote speaker. The second half allows students to hear from additional speakers in breakout rooms. This event is limited to students in K-12.
What's FRESH Show
A Zoom virtual series where two YEP mentors engage in a conversation with guest entrepreneurs on the show. Students ask questions and host the show live as it is streamed on Facebook. This series is open to the public for viewing and allows the public to engage using the Q&A feature.
