REMOTE LEARNING 4/27-4/30

TKMS Parents and Guardians,

Good afternoon! As you are aware, the middle school will be participating in Remote Learning for the remainder of this week. Please read all the information listed below regarding student expectations during our remote learning timeframe.

Daily Schedule

Students are required to participate in google meets on

Tuesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 29.


Google Meets may be accessed through phone if internet is not an option.

Paper Copies

If you signed up for paper copies, the middle school main office vestibule entrance will be open Tuesday, April 27 from 12 noon-8pm for work pick up.

Student expectations

Classwork-

Students are expected to complete all work during their remote learning time. If students have questions or concerns they can email their teachers directly.


Attendance- Students must respond to their power teacher communications during remote learning in order for attendance to count.


If you do not have internet access at home students can complete and submit work next week which will also count towards attendance.

Testing

We will reschedule all testing including PSAT make ups for 8th graders in seat and Virtual.


6th and 7th grade M-STEP and MAP will be rescheduled (or continued) at a later date.

Virtual Students

Virtual Students will continue as planned.

Athletics

Outdoor athletic activities may continue as well. In the event of inclement weather, all practices will be cancelled. We will not allow indoor practices.
