Red Flags of Phishing

What to Watch out For

- Watch out for emails that address you by 'Dear client' and not by your name. If it was real the company would know who you are.

-Watch out for links. The link will bring you to a scam website that can steal your information if you simply just enter in your username and password. (Tip- hover over the link and if it is a scam then the website will not be the company's name.)

-Watch out for misspellings of simple words and grammatical errors.

-Watch out for emails with words like 'account verification' and 'account expired'.
