The TAG Referral window is open November 13 - Dec 8!

If you are interested in having your child tested for the RRISD Talented and Gifted Program, please watch this informational video. It explains the program, referring, and the testing procedure. If you have further questions, please contact Tina_risinger@roundrockisd.org or 512-464-4479.

Current library checkouts are due Nov. 27 when we return from Thanksgiving. Enjoy the books over the break, or drop them in the book return so you don’t have to be responsible over the holiday. It’s up to you.

Book Fair is open through this Friday at 1:30. We are restocking books throughout the week, so come check out our awesome selection!

Teachers have built wish lists for their classrooms. Ask about the wish list board and select a book to say ‘Thank you’ to a teacher. Gift certificates are also available for any amount you choose.

Can’t make it in to shop? Want more choices for non-elemtary school readers? Trying to keep it a surprise for the holidays?

The online fair is a great option. Books ship to DWE for free after the online fair ends Nov. 21.

November / December: Graphic Novels Thursday, Dec. 7th 2:55-3:45

You may think graphic novels are easy to read because they are just a bunch of pictures, but reading a graphic novel actually takes tons of thinking and making of inferences. Let's discuss the ways the authors of graphic novels use pictures and other techniques to help us understand their story, and then let's try our hand at writing and illustrating our own comics!

Readasaurus is a monthly book club to promote an excitement for reading with 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders! During monthly book club meetings after school, we will discuss our reading as a community and continue our learning through a hands-on activity.
