The Water Cycle
Daniel Nunez's 5th Grade Class
Standards
SC.5.E.7.1
Create a model to explain the parts of the water cycle. Water can be a gas, a liquid, or a solid and can go back and forth from one state to another.
SC.5.E.7.2
Recognize that the ocean is an integral part of the water cycle and is connected to all of Earth's water reservoirs via evaporation and precipitation processes.
Information
Water cycle- the cycle of processes by which water circulates between the earth's oceans, atmosphere, and land, involving precipitation as rain and snow, drainage in streams and rivers, and return to the atmosphere by evaporation and transpiration

Why the ocean is important?
The ocean is important because that is where the most of the water is stored for the water cycle. The water is evaporated from it and the runs through the cycle and ends up back in the ocean where it started.
