CHANGES TO COVID-19 MITIGATIONS
In case you missed it in last Friday’s District Newsletter, the Board of Education accepted recommended changes to our COVID-19 procedures and protocols last Wednesday. Please review the Friday District Newsletter so you understand how we are operating moving forward. This plan comes with changes to our masking protocols so there will be periods of recommended masking and required masking in our buildings that are reflected on the weekly dashboard. These decisions will be made based on the Friday dashboard and if there is a change at the school for the following week, families will receive an email from FPS Communications explaining the change.
According to this week's dashboard, Country Dale continues to be 'required' masking for students.
CATCH UP ON DISTRICT NEWS
Please be sure to read the newest District Newsletter that comes out now every Friday. You can access all the issues here.

Orders are due by February 6th. Your valentines will be delivered to the FPS school or ECC building on Thursday, February 14, 2022.
COUNTRY DALE SCHOOL YEARBOOK
YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING
As part of a School-Based Mental Health Grant we received as a district, we are excited to offer another opportunity to train parents and community members in Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA). During the YMHFA course, participants develop an understanding of the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, the importance of early intervention, and how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. Participants will engage in a 2-hour self-paced course followed by a 4.5 hour in-person session with a district trainer on Thursday, February 24th from 4:30-9:00 PM. If you do not have access to needed technology for the online self-paced portion, arrangements can be made to provide you with a device and/or internet access. The deadline to register is Monday, January 31st. Please complete this survey to indicate your interest in participating. There are limited spots and an email will be sent to finalize your enrollment in the course and next steps.
K-5 SPRING CONCERT UPDATES-MARK AND ADJUST YOUR CALENDARS
Parents - we originally had some K-5 music events slotted on the calendar coming up at the end of January and the beginning of February. We have been reviewing our offerings for the music program and working with Saber Center availability to adjust these events. Moving into the spring, we will be offering concert events for grades 1, 2, 3, and 5 at the Saber Center this year. By offering this event, we hope to present a larger scope for families so they can experience the progress and growth across the grade levels. Therefore, grades K and 4 will not have a spring concert event this year.
Please mark your calendars for the following event later this spring:
COUNTRY DALE - Tuesday, April 26 - Grades 1, 2, 3, 5 @ 6:30 pm at the Saber Center
COUNTRY DALE LOST AND FOUND
Parent, please click on the Lost and Found link and review the items currently here. If you see an item that is your child's, ask your child to come to the NEW Lost and Found area. We have relocated the Lost and Found to the short hallway by room 6.
