1st Quarter Benchmarks

We are nearly halfway through the first quarter! Wow! That means that we only have a few weeks until the first benchmark test. You might have your student prepare by visiting the link below.

Spelling Program

Spelling lists and lessons are built around each individual student's demonstrated spelling ability. Lists are posted to Edmodo in case your student misplaces his or her list.


Click on the link below to open the 5th grade Spelling Program letter to parents and review the weekly routine. I would like to make one change to the original plan. That is I would like students to choose 1/2 of their word list for sentence composition on Wednesdays. Students with 20 words should choose any 10 to use in a sentence. Students with 15 choose 7, and students with 10 choose 5. Thank you for working with me to help students adapt to the routine.
