Big picture

Ladies Night Is This Thursday

Ladies, take a break from the hustle and bustle of the end of school and bring your friends for a quiet night poolside Thursday, June 20th, when we hold our first Ladies Night, 7:00-10:00 p.m.!

The theme is Hawaiian and there will be a door prize!

Sherri Spritzer will be our host for the evening. Please RSVP to her at so that she can take a head count. She needs 15 promised attendees for this to be a go!

The pool will close to non-partygoers at 8:45 p.m. The cost is $5.00 for members; $7.00 for non-members. Adult members and their adult guests only. No free coupons accepted.

Please bring an Hawaiian dish if you can or some other kind of salad, appetizer, or dessert to share. Soft drinks will be provided. Bring your own wine or beer.

Swim Team Holds First Home Meet Wednesday

Your board has arranged for our members to visit the Parkland Pool while our swim team holds its first home meet Wednesday, June 19.

Our pool will close to members at 4 p.m. to give team parents time to set up for the meet.

KMSC patrons can swim at Parkland for the evening after paying that pool's guest fees.

This arrangement also will be in effect for the team's two other evening home meets Monday, June 24, and Monday, July 8.

The team also will be hosting multiple teams for the Division O Relay Carnival before the pool opens to the rest of us on Sunday morning, June 30. But everyone's invited to enjoy this wildly fun event!

Come cheer on the ‘Roos while enjoying breakfast, lunch, and snacks poolside from the Kangaroo Kafe!

First Cornhole Games Held

We had some fierce play for our first cornhole games Sunday.

Arranged by our socials director Sherri Spritzer, teams played two rounds amid a lot of giggles and some seriously deft tosses.

She reports a fun time was had by all, including a visiting family that has decided to join the pool!

Sherri's planning another Cornhole Tournament on August. 18th, 3-4:30 p.m. In the meantime, join us for Yard Games at the Pool next weekend, June 23, 3-4:30 p.m. and select Sundays after that.

The full schedule is posted here on the KMSC website and on the pool's Facebook page.
