Guys and Dolls, Jr. is our Spring Musical will be held in the auditorium at Lenape on Thursday, March 30th @ 7:00 PM, Friday, March 31st @ 7:00 PM, and Saturday, April 1st at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. . PSSA and Algebra & Keystone Dates
Please be aware of the following dates for state mandated testing:
PSSA English Language Arts - 7th & 8th Grade - April 4-5
PSSA Math - 7th & 8th Grade - April 25-26
PSSA Science - 8th Grade - May 2
Keystone - Accelerated Algebra - May 16-17
Please make every attempt to have your child in attendance on these dates to take these assessments. Additional information will be provided in the coming weeks.
PDE Information for Parents regarding PSSA
Each year the Pennsylvania Department of Education provides parents with information regarding the state PSSA testing program in grades 3 to 8. In the two-page handout you will find general information about the testing program and the general types of questions asked as well as short descriptions of the PSSA tests in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science. What's So Cool About Manufacturing?
Several students in Mr. Carman's Tech-Ed class have been working toward completion of a video on "What's so cool about Manufacturing." The students are Ben S., Sam S., Connor G., CJ F., and Ani N. Our Lenape group have been working with Worth and Company in Pipersville under the coordination of Stanley Cordova. All of the 15 participating schools from the surrounding Philadelphia region will have their videos posted for people in the school districts and the surrounding community to vote on based on what the participating students have produced.
The online voting contest will be taking place March 8th-10th. We encourage all schools and businesses to have their students/employees go online and vote to support their team's video.
There will be seven categories of awards, the online voters will select the winner of the viewers choice award and the judges will pick the winner of the other six awards. Here are the awards categories:

- Outstanding Program - Judges
- Outstanding Videography - Judges
- Outstanding Editing - Judges
- Outstanding Creativity - Judges

Parent Positive Series
RESILIENT KIDS: BUILDING A COMMUNITY OF KINDNESS - "Discovering Our Common Ground." The Central Bucks School District is proud to collaborate with our community partners in hosting a parent speaker series.
The goal of Parent Positive is to create a venue for community conversations around relevant parenting issues. Parent positive is a collaboration between the CB Cares Educational Foundation, Doylestown Health, The Central Bucks Family YMCA, and the Central Bucks School District. Presentation will be held at The Central Bucks Family YMCA on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Student check-in: 12:30-1:00 PM in Y Lobby and Parents check-in 12:30 -1:00 PM in the Teen Center. For more information click here
Program Planning
The Program Planning process for course selection for 2017-18 has begun. Students have attended grade level assemblies to learn detailed information about the process. They will meet with teachers and guidance counselors to review recommendations and course options. All students will bring home verification sheets listing course requests so parents can review and discuss these choices with their child before anything is finalized.

YES, Lenape collects Box Tops! Our life skills class uses Box top activities to reinforce skill development. Lenape earns money for every label collected.
Please send your Box Tops to school labeled "Lenape Guidance" or drop them in the box in the lobby adjacent to the main office. Please don't worry about cutting the labels, tearing them off is fine.
